Introduction

It's now been over a year since I started repainting model buses and having been a member of the Model Bus Federation for the same amount of time I have decided to start up my own model bus fictional fleet.

I have witnessed various model bus fleets, some small and some large and this has spurred me on to create my own fleet. I can apply my skill of repainting models to a relatively high quality but I can add a creative flare to create my own livery.

Below you'll find details of my growing fleet along with photos.

Standard livery: White front and forward part of roof. Dark blue rear, diagonally tapering to form band proceeding towards front of vehicle. Black skirt. AdLynx lettering applied on nearside, offside front and/or rear depending on model.

Schools livery: White front and forward part of roof. Golden yellow rear, diagonally tapering to form band proceeding towards front of vehicle. Black skirt. AdLynx lettering applied on nearside, offside front and/or rear.

Park & Ride: White front and forward part of roof. Red rear, diagonally tapering to form band proceeding towards front of vehicle. Black skirt. AdLynx lettering applied on nearside, offside front and/or rear depending on model.

Driver training/engineering: Allover white with a black skirt and dark blue roof.

Locale: West Riding of Yorkshire.

Fleet: My aim was to have a predominantly Leyland Lynx based fleet. However, what was available at the time was pressed into service. There may be the 'oddball' which adds variety but I hope to keep my aim on having the fleet dominated by Leyland Lynxes.
